New Era

Many of us New Zealanders loved seeing the All Blacks win back to back world cup titles. They say a new All Black era began in 2004 when they drew a line in the sand. More on that later, but I want to make a prophetic declaration about Church Unlimited; it’s a NEW ERA, THIS IS OUR TIME. I feel like King David in 2 Samuel 7:18-19

2 Samuel 7:18-19
8 Then King David went in and sat before the Lord; and he said: “Who am I, O Lord God? And what is my house, that You have brought me this far? 19 And yet this was a small thing in Your sight, O Lord God; and You have also spoken of Your servant’s house for a great while to come. Is this the manner of man, O Lord God?

God had greatly blessed David, then says much more.

Isaiah 42:9
9 Behold, the former things have come to pass,
And new things I declare;
Before they spring forth I tell you of them.”

Prophetic words that are already starting to be fulfilled are, the acceleration of expansion and ten fold growth in ten years.

The greatest new era, or shift in the Spirit, of all time came through the birth and death of Jesus.

When Moses died Joshua took over and started a great new era of conquest.

Joshua 1:1-3
1 After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, it came to pass that the Lord spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, saying:
2 “Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel.
3 Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.

Isaiah 43:19
19 Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.

The seeds of a new era were sown into the soil of Church Unlimited with the name change.

Isaiah 62:2
2 …You shall be called by a new name, Which the mouth of the Lord will name.

A prophetic name

; Our new name connects with the new era. An era of no limits; limitless; unlimited.

Mark 2:22
22 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins.”

We need to change to be able to hold and enjoy the blessings God wants to pour into us.

Key words and phrases that define our new era

1. Expansion
Acceleration of expansion

A key verse for Church Unlimited is Isaiah 54:2-3

Isaiah 54:2-3
2 “Enlarge the place of your tent,
And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings;
Do not spare;
Lengthen your cords,
And strengthen your stakes.
3 For you shall expand to the right and to the left,
And your descendants will inherit the nations,
And make the desolate cities inhabited.

2. Every Christian stepping into their calling and greater anointing

The two myths that derail the church will be greatly reduced.

a. There are two categories of people in the church; clergy, laity.

b. Marketplace ministers are not as spiritual as church ministers.

Acts 8:1,4-7
1 Now Saul was consenting to his death.
At that time a great persecution arose against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.

4 Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word.
5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them.
6 And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
7 For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed.
8 And there was great joy in that city.

Old Testament ministry was done by priests. In the New Testament that changes.

Revelation 1:6
6 and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

In new era more people will find their sweet spot what they were born to do.

3. Promises and prophesies fulfilled

Some of the ones that were truly from God will be fulfilled.

Ezekiel 12:23, 28
23 Tell them therefore, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “I will lay this proverb to rest, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel.”’ But say to them, ‘“The days are at hand, and the fulfillment of every vision.
28 Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “None of My words will be postponed any more, but the word which I speak will be done,” says the Lord God.’”
